What exactly is your job at WALA?
As press officer for Dr.Hauschka Skin Care I respond to the many enquiries from journalists that reach us daily. The spectrum of issues covered reaches from questions about our products to topics like sustainability. In addition I support our 40 distribution partners abroad with their press relations. I also organise press events here at Bad Boll/Eckwälden to which I invite journalists – that’s always a special occasion. In turn, I myself travel with experts from our company to visit editors of such publications as “Brigitte”, “Madame” and “Elle”. The close contact with other people is the thing I like best about my job!
What are you working on currently?
I have just finished working on a press release which is ready to be sent to various publishers. Of course we hope that this information will be used by the media in their articles. As well as this, I received several enquiries from the press today which I will answer as soon as I can – a lot of media have tight deadlines.
What do you see when you look around your workplace?
My colleague Elisabeth Seydel, who shares the office with me. She and I work together on press relations for Dr.Hauschka Skin Care. We make a good team and have almost reached the stage where we communicate without words. We’re like an old married couple…
