Resolve to look your glamorous best - with New Year’s Make-up from Dr.Hauschka Skin Care

The year is coming to a close and the first invitations for New Year’s celebrations have already arrived. The festively glamorous New Year’s Make-up from Dr.Hauschka Skin Care is the stylish yet extravagant way to start the new year. An even complexion, sparkling eyes and seductive lips – it doesn’t take long to create a firework of colour and brilliance.

The basis

Even the most dramatic highlights require a proper canvas on which to unfold their full power. After using your usual day cream, apply the Translucent Make-up that best matches your own complexion. This foundation offsets irregularities and gives the skin an even, lively appearance. Fix by applying a thin layer of Bronzing Powder over the entire face. It lends the complexion a transparent yet appealingly warm brown tone.

The eyes

Violet is this year’s trend colour for eyes. First apply Eyeshadow 08 delicate rose to the entire eyelid up to the eyebrow, followed by Eyeshadow 07 lilac to the moveable portion of the lid and blend upwards. For the ultimate in irresistible eyes, the colour may extend beyond the edges of the eyes to the edges of the eyebrows. Then, use Eyeshadow 07 lilac along the lower lashline from outside to in and apply Eyeshadow 08 delicate rose to the inside corners of the eyes for even more brilliance.

Now emphasise the edge of the eye with Kajal Eyeliner 05 black, starting at the outer corner of the eye and ending the line at approximately 3/4 of the length of the lid. Follow with Eyeliner Liquid 01 black to accentuate the upper eyelid. The fine brush makes it easy to produce a neat, extravagant line on the eyelid which is long-lasting and cares for the skin at the same time. Volume Mascara 01 black serves as the crowning touch for the eye make-up, giving your lashes a voluminous curve and thickening the fine lashes without causing them to stick together.

Tip: Place the Eyeliner liquid brush at the centre of the eyelid, directly at the edge of the lashes, and draw the line outwards. Then complete the line from the inner corner of the eye to the centre. This is the easiest way to apply an even line of eyeliner.

The lips

It doesn’t take much to transform the lips into the perfect counterpart to the eyes. Simply outline the contours with Lipliner and then apply Lipstick. Lipliner 02 warm red and Lipstick 06 garnet form a breathtaking contrast to the violet tone of the eye make-up. If you prefer a more subdued look, experiment with the combination Lipliner 06 aubergine and Lipstick 11 plum. The advantage for you: the medicinal herb extracts in the rich lipstick are not only decorative but moisturise and protect the lips at the same time.

Tip: Apply the lipstick with a lip brush to achieve more even, attractive coverage.

The cheeks

Rouge Powder 03 rose with genuine silk, rose petals and jojoba oil lends delicate highlights to the cheeks. Apply the Rouge Powder from the hairline below the temples to the highest point of the cheekbones – this brings out your natural vitality and gives the look the finishing touch.

Tip: To accentuate the face more intensely, simply apply the Rouge Powder with broader strokes.
